Adornments of the Month - December 2013

I love dressing up and I'm pretty sure you do, too!  I have a lot of talented, artistic friends who make gorgeous wearables that go perfectly with my designs.  Each month I will post one of my designs as well as pieces from other craftspeople that I love.  Enjoy! 

Samantha Rei - China Dress - $220

  Bionic Unicorn - Enchanted Leaf Bracelet - $26

 I love Bionic Unicorn.  I have several of her pieces and they are all works of art.  She has an magical, whimsical spirit that is as contagious as her smile.  I'm glad to count her as my friend. "This enchanted leaf and ring bracelet features a vintage spray of leaves that have been enameled in woodland tones of green, copper, and flecks of gold. Apatico - Velvet Harness Tilt Hat - $175

 Apatico is one of the most talented artists I've ever met.  She makes decadent heaspieces, amazing paintings and take gorgeous photos.  She is constantly learning new trades and pushes me to do the same.  I own several of her pieces and have been collecting them over the years. "This avant garde tilt hat is a little bit Victorian, a little bit film noir, and tied together with harness strap details.  Soft draped velvet and shimmering black satin dance beneath a curled ostrich plume, reined in by rivited black grosgrain ribbon straps that tie into a bow.  Mysterious, alluring, edgey, and demure all at once.  Perfect for the femme fatale, the villainess, the vixen." - Apatico 

Shien Cosmetics - Viper's Kiss - $18

 Shien Lee is a dear friend who is fashionable, sweet and can throw a heck of a party.  She recently started a cosmetics company and I lust after all of it.  Check out her matte lipsticks.
