Minneapolis Storm Disaster

As many of you know, a tornado inexplicably hit North Minneapolis where I live. I work from home in my basement studio, which flooded. Luckily I didn't lose more than like $500 in materials/supplies. Unfortunately the sump pump was broken (Ryan fixed it). The carpet is pretty much done. I lost patterns, some garments and books. The repairs will likely be more expensive than replacing the materials. It could have been worse. I could have lost my house. It can always be worse. But we are currently only living off of my income and if I can't work in the basement (which I can't until it's dry -- I have asthma), then there will be no income. For a more thorough update, check out my blog entry on it.I have so many kind and giving friends and while I'd much rather earn money in this situation, I have been asked by several people to post a donation button. I really feel weird about this. It's been a hard time, but we're muddling through. Just know that if given the option, I'd rather you buy one of my items on Etsy so that I can earn the money. But if you want to donate, I will be gracious and not cause a fuss. Please don't feel obligated. Please know that I appreciate all of you no matter what.

Thank you,<3Samantha
